The problem with James Harden and player empowerment

It’s all Lebron’s fault. Lebron James’s decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2010 kicked off a decade-plus of player empowerment. No longer were NBA players bound to the teams they were drafted by. Now they could leave at any time and use that possibility against their current teams and ownership as leverage.
